Once again I designed the team bicycle jersey for my company's PMC (Pan Mass Challenge) ride. So far they have raised over $135,000 for 2018! Go Team Waters! @panmass @waterscorporation

So brushing off my Honor Thespian title from many decades ago, I got to dive into the Tiny Viking world of "Magertha, Queen of Informatica", and along with my co-hort "Ivar" we filmed short pieces for an upcoming software conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. A fun time indeed, but I definitely need to sharpen my improv skills! I had the pleasure of attending the DAM NYC 2017 Conference - all things Digital Asset Management related! A growing field, and a big interest to me, the discussion topics touched upon digital asset archiving, metadata, taxonomy, and more. Brands such as Hasbro, Hallmark, and Coca-Cola presented their challenges and solutions to their DAM problems. An excellent 2 days of networking and eye-opening subjects!
My art exhibit in town was well attended and 6 paintings were snatched up! I thoroughly enjoyed talking with the high school and college art students. Thanks to all who came out and 10% of proceeds will go to the American Lyme Disease Foundation.
My first major art show in decades! Please visit my painting exhibit at the Flora T. Little Art Gallery at the Bridgewater Public Library, 15 South Street, Bridgewater, MA. It is on the second floor. The meet and greet is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 12-2pm. Many are available for purchase and 10% of sales will be donated to the American Lyme Disease Foundation. Thanks and I hope to see you there or at least enjoy my work!
I was approached by my brother out in Oregon to help with his "STEAM" (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) initiative in Tualatin, Oregon quizzically named "Mobile Makerspace" – one of just eight cities from around the country to be named finalists in the America's Best Communities competition! Read about it here. Riffing off of ideas provided by locals, I was able to conjure up a kid-friendly fun logo that will be splashed across t-shirts and the mobile trailer itself.
I recently went to my local library's historical room, well, it IS named after the woman who lived in the 200+ year-old house prior to us (Lorraine Daley, she was a heavy in town with the Conservation Committee, etc.). Found out they had JUST updated the logo for the Old Bridgewater Historical Society, but were in dire need of it in a scalable vector format. So by using the awesome www.whatthefont.com and figuring out the typeface, and redrawing their new logo in Illustrator, I was able to give them the files they needed for larger output such as banners and table drapes. They made me an honorary member for a year!
Graphic Design USA has once again graced me with an award for their 2016 Inhouse Design competition. The Waters Agrochemical Solutions brochure focuses on the growing demand for securing sustainable global food supplies.
